In 1916 we opened on the other side of the "L" stop in the Stacked and Folded storefront.
This picture was taken in 1946 at that location.

In 1953 Fred Booge (My Father) started working here, along with my grandfather!
In the 70's and 80's Fred and Otmar ran the shop
The barber shop was paneled and the ceiling lowered, but the place looked pretty much the same.
From 1993 thru 2009 my father and I worked side by side.
My father, alone, cut more than 250,000 heads of hair in his career .
I have cut some families hair for 3 and 4 generations.
Today, we have 3 barbers working at the barber shop.
We have over 90 combined years of experience.
